Nokia 500 is Nokia's first 1GHz
Symbian smartphone. It is also the
lightest Nokia smartphone based on
the Symbian^3 OS running the latest
Symbian Anna OS with enough power
to support future updates. Nokia 500
features a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 5.0MP
camera, 2GB built-in memory with up
to 32GB memory card support, GPS
with Nokia Ovi Maps, swappable back
covers (three colours provided free),
Wi-Fi, push email, instant messaging,
and social media support.
Nokia 500 is the cheapest Nokia
Smartphone running Symbian^3 OS.
Despite all these features, Nokia has
priced it at 150 Euros before taxes and
subsidies (N32,000). So, if you find
current Symbian^3 phones too
expensive for your budget, this
smartphone is for you. It is now
available in Nigeria at a price of around
N32,000 and is upgradable to Symbian
Belle.
